If I'm a reseller who sources product from Avnet, why would I be as sanguine about this as the quotes and articles suggest? Shouldn't I be at least a little uneasy that my supplier has purchased a firm that competes for vertical contacts and customers...for example, by holding sessions like
this "Smarter Commerce" event scheduled for April 18 in Calgary?
Below, I've pasted a snapshot of the lead graphic in the Overview section of "What We Do" on the Ascendant website. I don't think it's impossible that other channel members might think, "hey, that's what I do, too!"
Seems to me like there's a little potential for conflict here...
