A couple of interviews from
Xconomy.com caught my eye. First up,
Microsoft's chief environmental strategist
Rob Bernard (the article mentions that this position was created specifically for him). The interview doesn't go terribly deep, but we do get an outline of the way MS is positioning itself from a sustainability/green perspective. (" There are really three parts to the strategy. The first one is to use IT to improve energy efficiency. The second is to accelerate research breakthroughs. And the third is about responsible environmental leadership." ) Full article here:

The second article of note:
The New Google: Internet Giant Opens Up About Real-Time and Local Search, Cloud Computing, and Data Liberation (21 December 2009
www.xconomy.com/national/2009/12/21/the-...and-data-liberation/ ) Gregory T. Huang of Xconomy talks to four different Google reps, talking about real-time search, local search, cloud based applications and data liberation.
Hat tip to the folks at
www.xconomy.com. Their focus is " the exponential economy, the realm of business and innovation characterized by exponential technological growth and responsible for an increasing share of productivity and overall economic growth." I hadn't visited xconomy.com before, but I will return.
