On the growth side, Nick Earle, SVP, worldwide services, sales, and channels for Cisco introduced a new smart services offering. It is a software that discovers parts of a customer’s network, analyses the findings and then correlates the data turning it into “actionable insights.” It allows partners to return to their customers with ways to improve the efficiency of their existing network infrastructure.
While still in pilot, the new offering will be delivered through a new, simpler Cisco Services Partner Program that should be rolled out to partners by the end of the year. The program will simplify 47 Cisco programs into a single program, laying the foundation for Cisco partners to access Smart Services.
Partners will access the program either as a Cisco branded services partner or through collaborative services where a partner purchases Cisco intellectual capital and services infrastructure and partner builds upon and delivers the solution.
