How large is the divide between what you think your customers want, and what they want?
What is your SEO social signals strategy?
What is your web presence optimization?
“Marketers should have control over SEO campaigns; you shouldn’t have to hire a consultant to do that,” said gShift Labs
president and CEO, Krista LaRiviere.
“Marketers want control, and they don’t have control over SEO. You should be able to gather enough intelligence to understand your web presence or digital footprint.”
She cited figures from a Forbes ad effectiveness survey that indicate SEO is the number one lead conversion tactic, outranking email marketing and paid search. In December 2011 there were 12 billion Google searches performed worldwide (source: Comscore.com
), up 3% over November. The majority (80-90%) of searchers favour organic over paid search. SEO is important in the marketing toolbox.
“Our software provides data points, competitive and business intelligence research and reporting, and workflow and task management, all with the goal of ranking higher organically for search engines,” LaRiviere said.
“We find the keywords and keyword phrases that your prospects are using to try to find you. We’ve identified the keyword gap – there’s always a gap between what you think and what is. Our intelligence closes that keyword gap by uncovering those keyword phrases and optimizing for them.”
gShift has coined the term Web Presence Optimization, defined as Traditional SEO + social signals + fresh content.
