Robert Scoble has posted a video at building43.com withChris Foreman of Avepoint. Foreman is all over the requirements for migrating to Sharepoint 2010 and is clearly up on the implications of "leveraging the cloud." Scoble, as always, leads the conversation in a friendly and informed manner, and Foreman is clearly up-to-date with the concerns of enterprises as they look forward (and into the clouds). www.building43.com/videos/2009/12/03/pre...for-sharepoint-2010/

At one point Scoble asks Foreman "What should enterprises be thinking of" and Foreman replies, "Well, thinking would be good..." This exchange reminded me of an article from a couple months ago: Avoid Newbie Mistakes: 10 Steps to Successful SharePoint Deployments (sharepointmagazine.net/technical/adminis...arepoint-deployments)provides a number necessary and good things to consider in advance of a migration to the Sharepoint 2010.

Hat tip to Robert Scoble (http://scobleizer.com) and the folks at www.building43.com

I've always enjoyed Scoble's perspectives. Here's a guy with as much experience evangelizing next-gen social media platforms and process as anyone in the industry, yet listening to him you could swear you're getting it from the average joe chatting about it over a morning coffee.

I'm glad you shared this.
